Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) in collaboration with MITRAS DUDI held an online socialization of the TRAKNUS Mengajar Program on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. This activity presented competent speakers in their fields, namely SSEHS Department Head Pendi Setyawan, HCSSEHSGA Division Head Iman Nurcahyo, PLT Director of MITRAS DUDI Dr. Uuf Brajawidagda, and SPD & Facility Department Head Endro Setyono. Followed by more than 300 vocational schools, this activity became a persuasive event to join the TRAKNUS Mengajar Program.
The TRAKNUS Mengajar Program is a routine activity that has been intensively running since 2022 and has become a collaborative initiative between TRAKNUS and the government to strengthen the connection between the world of education and industry. Through this program, vocational schools have the opportunity to get direct teaching from professionals in the heavy equipment industry. This socialization activity aims to introduce the TRAKNUS Mengajar Program to various vocational schools throughout Indonesia, with a focus on heavy equipment and light vehicle engineering majors.
The socialization of "TRAKNUS Mengajar" is an essential part of the series of events commemorating TRAKNUS 50th Anniversary. This program is a concrete manifestation of the implementation of one of the CSR pillars (Smart, Healthy, Shady), namely Smart points. This program does not just provide theoretical insights, but a valuable opportunity to get direct teaching from professionals in the industry, becoming a bridge that connects two entities to create learning opportunities.
"The solid collaboration created between education and the world of work is expected to create the next generation of quality and able to compete at the global level. So that TRAKNUS Mengajar is not just an additional education program, but a long-term investment in creating a brighter future for the nation and state," said PLT Director of MITRAS DUDI Dr. Uuf Brajawidagda in his presentation.
This activity showed positive enthusiasm as seen from the active participation of more than 126 participants as well as high interest from schools to engage in collaboration, marking an important first step in building a solid relationship between vocational schools and industry. TRAKNUS will continue to support quality education and prepare the younger generation to face challenges in an increasingly complex industrial world.
